It is good local restraint. Even my daughter said that oh... the meat is really good. The service is very warm and good.I think the meat is a little bit too salty.Very charming village

This is my first time ever being in Braga, so I wanted to try out some traditional/regional fare here (from Braga and the Minho region, in general) tonight. It’s also mid-autumn. And that means it’s the typical time of the “matança” (or the annual slaughter of the family hog for food (pork, sausage, bacon, etc., etc.) throughout the winter and into summer of the following year. As with many European countries where this occurs, there is virtually nothing that goes to waste from this process. So for dinner tonight, I had a small bowl of “Papas de Sarrabulho” as a starter and then “Rojões à Minhota” as my main dish, along with a couple of glasses of their house red (tinto) from the Douro region. I’ll leave you all to look those dishes up if you’re interested. All of it was excellent, but the star of the show was the Papas, which were out of this world delicious! And for dessert, the most wonderful “Pudim à Abade de Priscos” (pictured) - another special delicacy of this region. If you want to have a feeling for what that’s like, think of the absolutely most delicious Flan or Creme Caramel you’ve ever had, multiply that by about 5 and then add whipped cream with an orange-reduction glacé to go with it.

I had dinner here. It's a very traditional Portuguese restaurant. I had soup followed by pork cheeks and mashed potato for dessert I had lime cheesecake. It's very high quality food. The service is very good. It's not cheap but it's worth the money. I highly recommend it.

Delightful family restaurant with an extremely welcoming and friendly owner who happily answered all my questions and made me feel welcome. Had the cabidela and it was delicious. The restaurant itself has a lively, local atmosphere and the inside is a museum of interesting artifacts from sports memorabilia to pics of other guests and locations. Had a wonderful experience

Very traditional and local feel. Small selection of dishes which were all obviously freshly made. We had the house wine which was delicious and bacalhau a Braga which was stunning and a huge portion. Friendly service and a good price. We left very contented!

Amazing ambiance and food! We live an hour away from here and we may have to come back here just for this restaurant. It’s a 10/10 for me and I’d recommend it to anyone. Renato was super helpful as well!
